In the ranking for Life Sciences Universities it takes the 22nd place and has the highest score among Dutch universities. In partial rankings, whereby universities are not compared as a whole but by subject, Wageningen University has been ranked number two on the agricultural sciences in between University of California - Davis and Cornell University (Higher Education Evaluation & Accreditation Council of Taiwan) .
For the eighth year in a row, Wageningen University has been awarded the title “Best university in the Netherlands”, by the study choice guide ‘Keuzegids Universities 2013’. This guide, issued by the Higher Education Information Centre (CHOI) on December 4, 2012, states: "Many of Wageningen University’s programmes are among the best the Dutch universities have to offer."
